Michigan Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts

In 2003 I booked a hunt with the Gray Ghost Ranch. WOW! It was a dream hunt. I’d like to thank Ron & Lisa Utt for a hunt of a lifetime. The management practices at the Gray Ghost Ranch are second to none. I saw the largest whitetail deer I’ve ever seen. I took my best Whitetail buck to date & look forward to future hunts with Ron & Lisa.

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much I and my daughter, Ashlee, have enjoyed hunting at the Gray Ghost Ranch.

What a great day it was last fell to sit in the woods with my daughter and see so many quality bucks. I could have sat there all day, And to top it off, watch Ashlee take her first ever whitetail with a perfect shot was icing on the cake. Those are the moments we'll treasure forever.

I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank Ron for his efforts on my most recent hunt at the Ranch. I fulfilled a life long dream on this hunt by taking a beautiful 138 in. 8 point management buck with my bow.

On August 28, 2005, I fulfilled a dream. For my 30^th wedding anniversary, I got the opportunity to shoot a whitetail buck in velvet at the Gray Ghost Ranch with Ron Utt as my guide. What a day! Along with my husband, in a very roomy and comfortable blind, we got to see lots of quality deer. All day long we witnessed deer behavior-close up and after a nice lunch I got my chance at a beautiful 8 point buck from a healthy herd of spectacular animals. There were so many deer in the field that I had to wait for the broadside shot-clear of all the other deer. I took a great 8 point buck in perfect velvet. Thanks to Ron & Lisa Utt for keeping track of this great animal, their son, Anthony for driving us around on the ranch & taking photos and for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks for an enjoyable day & a beautiful whitetail specimen!

My hunt at the Gray Ghost Ranch was unforgettable. The quality of game we saw was unbelievable. It was a bitter cold day with howling winds and a long sit in the stand, all capped off with an incredible buck. My hats off to the Utts and my guide Anthony, who made the hunt top notch.

Gray Ghost Ranch, what a exciting hunt with guides Ron and Anthony Utt. Very comfortable accommodations, great food, 22 point 275 lb. whitetail, what more can you ask for. It's obvious with the management practice of Gray Ghost Ranch these folks know what their doing. I have no reservations recommending a hunt to any of my friends and look forward to returning in the future.

The sun was gleaming off the snow covered field when Ron said “there it is.” The perfect eight point trophy buck. I lined him in my sights and I knew he was mine. Thanks to Ron and Gray Ghost Ranch for making this the perfect day. I look forward to spending many more such days at the most awesome ranch in Michigan.
